HeDA meets Orange Grove at annual pita cutting event

This year, the traditional pita cutting, a Greek event, had a slightly different shape than usual. The Orange Grove startups and mentors were invited to share the New Year’s pita, visions, and ideas with the members of the Hellenic-Dutch Association of Commerce and Industry.

The bigger and smaller entrepreneurs were welcomed by the HeDA chairman George Kotsalos who spoke about the importance of having young entrepreneurs in a country such as Greece. Ambassador Veldkamp could only agree with this and emphasized that both the experienced HeDA members and the young Orange Grove startups need vision and hard work. “They need vision to identify new opportunities, creating innovative products and services. And hard work is needed to achieve personal and common goals for a sector or an entire country".

Orange Groves’ management Zamanis and Katsouris spoke about Orange Grove’s new steps in 2017 and thanked the HeDA members for their support to Orange Grove.

The night ended with a traditional pita cutting and lots of talk between old partners and (possible) new companions!
